The old mother of waters

A sonic journey based on the Chinese legend Shui-Mu Niang-Niang, “The old mother of waters”. Composed for Chinese string, wood and percussion instruments plus synth, liquid water and waterphone sounds. This piece was the 1st prize winner in the competition “Legends of China - Confucius Arts Institute Award 2016”. Composed by Luís Bittencourt.
